Georgia Currant

Consultant, Coach and Facilitator

Georgia works as a Consultant in her own business and is one of the newest members of the Impact Solutions International consultancy team. Her main focus is on leadership and personal development. Her most recent work with the Impact Solutions International team was a Program Management Lead for the highly acclaimed ‘The Shadow in Leadership Retreat.’

Prior to her accreditation with Impact Solutions International Georgia had 10 years’ experience working in tourism/hospitality and the retail sector. This work included stakeholder management, market research and the development of customer strategy, including customer experience definition, across a variety of businesses including not-for-profits.

Georgia is new to facilitation but her training is holding her in good stead. She recently delivered a three-part workshop for Volunteering Tasmania on effective conversations and communicating change. In 2019, she also facilitated workshops for adolescents with The Windeward Bound, a local not-for-profit.

Georgia works to support effective change from a system-wide perspective. Her exposure to all aspects of business, through her ten years of work within the tourism/hospitality sector, has shaped her understanding and ability to lead effective change programs.

Georgia is known for her flexibility, adaptability and her willingness to collaborate with others. This skill set helps facilitate the expansion of mindsets and the generation of viable creative options that makes a difference.

Her previous work experience, and current study in Psychological Science, combined with her love of nature, is maturing and informing a passion to work with organisations and individuals who are interested in creating a sustainable and thriving future. She is dedicated to nurturing the growth of innovation, collaboration, and emotional intelligence within organisations and the individual. An ever-expanding curiosity has informed the direction of her current work and studies.

Georgia has spent the majority of her childhood in the mountains of Tasmania and is most at home in the wild.
