Kate McNeill
The experience of work, shaped not only by the tasks we perform, but also by the environment in which we operate, the relationships we build, and the way we’re valued by our organisation, profoundly influences our mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing. As a People and Culture Specialist, I am committed to creating workplaces where individuals feel seen, supported, and empowered to thrive.
With a diverse background in Human Resources, I work across the whole employee lifecycle, from recruiting and onboarding talent, to developing capability, enhancing engagement and wellbeing, managing performance and grievances, and supporting career transitions and offboarding.
I bring a human-centred, design thinking approach to my work, grounded in deep listening, curious inquiry, and a clear understanding of the challenges at hand. I partner with organisations to co-create tailored, practical solutions that meet people and businesses where they are and move them toward where they want to be.
I’m passionate about helping organisations lead with heart, placing people at the centre of strategies to foster cultures of care, connection, and purpose.
What are you really passionate about?
I’m passionate about working one-on-one with individuals, whether it’s supporting managers through complex performance challenges within their teams, collaborating with team members to craft personalised development plans, or supporting individuals to build sustainable habits that enhance wellbeing at work.
Outside of my work, I’m a passionate adventurer, constantly seeking new places and experiences. I relish exploring the unfamiliar, and use adventure to fuel my curiosity, resilience and personal growth.
How has Impact Solutions International helped your development?
Becoming part of the ISI team has been both inspiring and transformative. I constantly gain new insights that enrich my work, and being surrounded by such an incredible team continually challenges me to reflect more deeply on my own beliefs, and to recognise the assumptions that may be limiting my personal and professional growth.
What work do you most like to do?
My most fulfilling work is centred around enhancing wellbeing in the workplace. I’m passionate about creating environments where people feel safe, supported, and empowered to bring their whole selves to work. I love helping individuals and leaders understand the profound impact that wellbeing has, on both personal health, and also on engagement, performance, and culture.
