Ella Gauci-Seddon
I believe authentic leadership is grounded in a commitment to continual growth and self-reflection, and the ability to release control. True leadership starts with taking responsibility for ourselves.
My ambition is to support people in claiming their agency and autonomy by embracing curiosity, vulnerability, and creativity — and by shedding the fear, shame, and anxiety that often hold us back.
Informed by my background in landscape architecture, community engagement, and Aboriginal policy, my approach is grounded in creativity, whole systems thinking, and emotional intelligence. Intersectionality, cultural safety, deep listening, and empathy are at the core of my practice.
With over 10 years of experience across consultancy, local government, and universities, I have developed a deep understanding of the unique systems, structures, pressures, challenges, and opportunities within each sector.
Following my Masters in Landscape Architecture I have pursued further qualifications and experience in a range of areas including intersectional gender equity, cultural awareness and competency, Aboriginal policy and affairs, mental health first aid and anti-racism. In 2023, I graduated from Impact Solutions International’s Advanced Leadership and Consultant Training program.
What are you really passionate about?
I am passionate about supporting people to identify, understand and process their feelings and emotions – work I believe is at the heart of self-liberation and true leadership. I am equally committed to fostering communities that nurture connection and resist the pull of individualism.
How has Impact Solutions International helped your development?
Working with ISI has helped me become a more whole and integrated version of myself. I am now more grounded, calm, and patient — and I proudly identify as a recovering perfectionist. Through this journey, I have expanded my understanding of who I am and what is possible for myself, others and our world.
ISI also equipped me with the frameworks, tools, and skills to lead, facilitate, and coach with greater strength and clarity. Just as importantly, it helped me recognize and deepen my existing strengths.
What work do you most like to do?
I thrive on working collaboratively with teams to uncover, define, and understand complex problems, and to translate their goals and ambitions into clear strategies and tangible outcomes that drive meaningful impact.
Supporting people one-on-one to recognise and harness their unique qualities, values, and perspectives, and help them step more fully into themselves is some of the most rewarding work I do.
