I am a highly qualified and experienced HR professional with over 20 years of operational experience. I am a hands-on result driven leader with a wealth of experience at navigating the intricacies of policy development including implementing integrated HR health checks.

Integrated HR health checks keep organisations and their leaders safe, conforming with legislation and contemporary HR practices. They align organisational practices with evolving regulatory standards and industry best practices. These are vital to mitigate risk, identify areas for improvement, and strategically assess and implement effective solutions.

Policy compliance and the impact it has on organisational efficiency and reputation is now non-negotiable.

My approach is to prioritise legal compliance that supports the promotion of a values-based organisational culture and employee well-being. Impact Solutions International is value based organisation.

My experience has provided me with the ability to navigate the increasingly complex regulatory landscape and communicate effectively with stakeholders to drive successful policy changes across various sectors. I believe this complexity is only going to increase.

I have extensively developed training skills which means I can work with senior teams to rollout necessary training when required. This ensures that any training is aligned with your desired culture by someone working in true partnership with you.

Beyond training, when issues get sticky, my deep understanding of process compliance means I am a highly respected business partner in managing and providing advice to ensure that successful outcomes are achieved especially when conflict is involved. I have strong interpersonal and communication skills that have underpinned my consistent achievement and outcomes.

What are you really passionate about?

I am passionate about creating a supportive and inclusive environment where people can thrive, especially within the context of HR.

My passion extends to working with managers, advocating for working with employees’ well-being, ensuring fair treatment, and providing resources and support to help everyone reach their full potential.

I enjoy building programs or initiatives that promote diversity and inclusion, providing mental health support, and working with those difficult issues. Helping others navigate the complexities of the workplace and empowering them to succeed is a driving force in my professional endeavours.

I have known Mary Dwyer, CEO and Amy Currant, Senior Consultant, for a while now. Our aligned values and people centric focused attracted me to say yes in joining the Impact Solutions International team.

What work do you most like to do?

Keeping organisations and their leaders safe by facilitating HR health checks, policy reviews and strategic mentoring in alignment with industry best practice is a thrill. Streamlining policies and writing them so they are clear and legally compliant takes many years of experience and skill and I love doing that as well. It is not unusual for my work to reduce the number of policies ensuring they are written without ambiguity!

My enthusiasm for these areas stems from the opportunity to positively impact individuals and organisations as a whole.

Through the mentoring of managers, nurturing collaborative leadership skills, and fostering a supportive and empowering environment engaged and effective workforces are developed. My passion for these aspects of HR shines through in my dedication to continuous learning, ensuring  that I am up to date with all regulatory requirements, industry trends, and many years of experience and exposure to various organisations  by making a meaningful contribution to every person that I work with
